About the experience

Terms & product notes

These brief notes describe Republic while its iPhone release is being prepared. Any licence and purchase terms supplied with the eventual App Store release will apply to that release.

Updated 5 October 2026

A fictional simulation

Republic is intended for entertainment and exploration. Its presidents, parties, ministers, opponents, situations, and outcomes are fictional. Policy effects, economic behavior, and elections use simplified, authored game models.

Playing a policy option does not constitute endorsement of that policy. The game does not provide real-world policy forecasts or personal legal, medical, or financial advice.

Play at your discretion

You choose how to approach the presidency and when to stop. The game includes sensitive political and ethical subjects. The eventual store listing will provide the applicable age rating and content information.

Local progress

Republic stores progress on your device. Manual saves can be kept alongside the current autosave. Deleting a save is permanent, and deleting the app removes its local game data. Apple device-backup settings govern any backup copies.

Optional online services

Core gameplay works offline without an account. Optional Firebase gameplay analytics is off by default and starts only after you opt in through Settings. Fictional game choices are not treated as endorsements or used to infer your real political beliefs. Optional Game Center sign-in and achievement submission depend on the build and Apple’s service configuration. See the privacy policy for the data and controls.

An independent game

Republic has its own simulation, writing, and interface. References to another game on this website explain a comparison; they do not imply affiliation, licensing, or endorsement.

Release and support

The app is coming soon. A release date and public App Store or TestFlight links have not yet been announced. For gameplay help and developer contact information, visit Support.
