Help with your presidency
Republic support
Republic is coming soon for iPhone. Here is a short guide to the game’s requirements, quarterly decisions, and local saves.
What you need
Republic targets iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Gameplay is offline and single player, and does not require an account. App Store and TestFlight availability will be announced on the home page.
Start a presidency
- Choose New presidency from the main menu.
- Choose your identity and difficulty, then continue to the starting country.
- Keep the default conditions or customize them, then choose Begin presidency.
- Read the Office inbox, explore Policies, and inspect Country for a detailed national report.
Stage a reform and advance the quarter
Open a policy, change its proposed setting, and choose Add to agenda. Staging prepares a draft. Next quarter opens your agenda for review; Confirm enacts it and advances time. Resolve any mandatory decision that appears.
Reforms spend political capital and take time to deliver. You can revise the agenda before confirmation, or advance a quarter while holding policy steady. How to play is also available in Settings.
Keep your progress
Autosave maintains your current game. In Settings, Save game creates a separate manual save. From the main menu, Saved games lets you load, duplicate, or delete saved presidencies.
If a save is marked unreadable, the app will decline to load it. Keep that save while investigating the problem. Deleting a save cannot be undone. Deleting the app removes its local saves and preferences; any device-backup copies are managed through your Apple settings.
Adjust the experience
Settings includes appearance, sound effects, haptic feedback, and reduced-motion controls. The app also provides its privacy policy there.
Choose whether to share analytics
Optional gameplay analytics is off by default. Firebase starts only after you opt in through Settings, where analytics can also be disabled. Leaving it off does not affect gameplay, saves, or offline play.
Turning it off stops future collection and clears local analytics SDK state, but does not automatically erase previously uploaded data. Read the privacy policy for the included and excluded data, retention, and the distinction between app analytics and website hosting requests.
Optional Game Center
Game Center sign-in and achievement submission are available on supported builds. These Apple features are optional and require your Game Center account; core gameplay and local saves work offline without signing in. Availability depends on the build and Apple’s Game Center configuration.
